Heriberto Sierra

Heriberto Sierra is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. He has been working in the mental health field since 2010. He graduated from Gannon University with a bachelor’s degree in biology. He went to St. Luke’s school of Nursing to receive his diploma in nursing in 2006 and Moravian College where he received his bachelor’s degree in 2012. He practiced as a registered nurse on a medical-surgical unit, oncology unit, and ICU unit at St. Luke’s hospital in Pennsylvania and Mercy hospital of Philadelphia. He then went on to practice as a psychiatric nurse at Central Regional Hospital in Butner, NC, UNC in Chapel Hill, and Wake Med in Raleigh, NC where he has taken care of patients ranging from children and adolescents to the elderly. He became a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner after finishing his master’s degree at Frontier Nursing University in 2021. He became employed at Carolina Behavioral Care in 2022 until December of 2024, when he started focusing on his own Telehealth practice named Serenity Health Telepsychiatry, LLC.
